Arena and boss chamber battle maps
This is the map you put down when the session has been building to something. An arena or boss chamber is a single deliberate space designed for one fight, with the terrain arranged to make that fight distinct rather than to look like somewhere people live.
Running one at the table
Boss rooms need features, not furniture. Pillars to break line of sight, a raised dais, a pit, a ritual circle, something that gives the encounter a shape beyond two lines of figures. These are drawn symmetrical or deliberately not, because both read as intentional.
How big to make it
A boss chamber wants 25 to 35 squares across. Large enough that a big creature can move and reposition, small enough that nobody spends three rounds walking.
What you can make
Pick one and RPGenie writes the map from it. This is not a library of 14 finished pictures: they are starting points, and the map you get is generated for your table.
