Farm and homestead battle maps
The isolated farm is where a campaign goes when something has gone wrong quietly. These are drawn as a working smallholding from above: farmhouse, barn, pens, well, cart, and the fields and fencelines that decide how anything approaches it across open ground.
Running one at the table
Fences are the underrated part. A farmyard divided by low walls and animal pens turns a simple clearing into a set of small enclosures, which is what stops a farm fight collapsing into everyone standing in a circle. The barn gives you a second, interior-scale fight in the same location.
How big to make it
A homestead plus its immediate yard sits at about 30 to 40 squares. The fields can run off the frame, because nothing interesting happens in the middle of a wheat field.
What you can make
Pick one and RPGenie writes the map from it. This is not a library of 13 finished pictures: they are starting points, and the map you get is generated for your table.
